Make sure you also have a first aid kit that is specifically designed with children in mind. This includes small band-aids and non-sting ointments. Also, have latex and non-latex gloves for your and your staff’s safety when helping a child with an injury.

Keep a steady flow of activity supplies – games and books for example – that regularly changes. This will not only keep children at your center entertained, but updating these materials regularly will prevent them from getting bored or tired of doing the same things everyday.
